Minute for Reflection: Good Friday

On Good Friday, Jesus dies. We begin three days of darkness. What in your life feels dark today? Enter the tomb with Jesus. Acknowledge a God who understands your broken heart and the forsaken places. Offer your pain, lonliness, and sorrow to Jesus today. Only then can he really redeem it. Remember, the finality of the tomb was not the end of God's story, and it won't be in yours.

Stay tuned for further Holy Week minutes of reflection on the blog. You can follow the picture series on Facebook too.

  1. Thank you for this reflection. I wept during morning prayers for all that Jesus endured and for all that I’ve endured in this life. Tears cleanse. Suffering with patience and forgiveness brings us closer to God. Adversity brings us the opportunity to triumph through our crosses, as Jesus did.
God bless you all, this Easter and always

    1. Thank you for writing, Kelly. May Jesus be glorified through his suffering, which was done for each of us. God bless you today and always.
