Minute for Reflection: Good Friday

On Good Friday, Jesus dies. We begin three days of darkness. What in your life feels dark today? Enter the tomb with Jesus. Acknowledge a God who understands your broken heart and the forsaken places. Offer your pain, lonliness, and sorrow to Jesus today. Only then can he really redeem it. Remember, the finality of the tomb was not the end of God's story, and it won't be in yours.

  1. Thank you for this reflection. I wept during morning prayers for all that Jesus endured and for all that I’ve endured in this life. Tears cleanse. Suffering with patience and forgiveness brings us closer to God. Adversity brings us the opportunity to triumph through our crosses, as Jesus did.
God bless you all, this Easter and always
